Day Two: Arrival in Beijing
Arrive in Beijing-the capital City of China. Our tour guide will greet you at the airport and take you to your hotel.
Day Three: Tour in Beijing
Beijing, the capital city of China, had served as the capital of 5 dynasties over a period of 800 years with each emperor identified as a dragon sent from the heaven.
Day Four: Tour around Beijing
The highlight today is travel to the astonishing Great Wall at Juyongguan Path. The Great Wall is the most famous image of China throughout the world. It is the only man made object visible from the moon, and as one of the Eight Wonders of the world. It is a symbol of Chinese traditional culture and the pride of the Chinese nation. Later visit the Sacred Path of Ming Tombs, 13 of the 16 Ming emperors have their tombs here. This is an attractive destination with a lot of natural scenery. Visit the Cloisonne Factory and the biggest Jade Exhibition Center in Asia. Enjoy the famous Peking Duck dinner in the evening.
Day Five: Beijing fly to Shanghai - Wuxi
In the morning, fly to Shanghai-the largest commercial and financial center of China. Walking the Nanjing Road and the Bund (Wai Tan) waterfront area, a sweeping area along the Huangpu River, where used to be foreign concessions and now is the symbol of modern Shanghai. Here is the best place to capture the western influence. Visit the Yuyuan Garden and the Old City Temple. Travel by motor coach to Wuxi.
Wuxi is another oldest cities in China with its history more than 3000 years. Visit the Turtle Head Penisular Park, where you can enjoy the beautiful Lake Tai, the third-largest lake in China. For lunch we will be served by the local cuisine-Wuxi Spare Ribs. Take coach to Suzhou after visiting the Freshwater Pearls Farm. Suzhou has been praised as the “Paradise on the Earth” since ancient times. It is an extraordinarily delicate and elegant city. Known as “Venice of the East”, Suzhou is built around Grand Canal. Many excellent classical gardens have entitled Suzhou as the “Garden City”. Our sightseeing includes the Tiger Hill, Garden of the Master of the Nets. Proceed to Hangzhou after enjoying the Silk Fashion Show.
Day Seven: Hangzhou - Shanghai
Hangzhou is a city with rich history and culture. Marco Polo described this place as “the most beautiful and magnificent city in the world”. Take the boat cruise on the magnificent West Lake, the symbol of Hangzhou. West Lake includes a lot of interesting sights. Then visit the Yellow Dragon Cave, taste the well-known Dragon Well Tea at the No.1 tea plantation. Drive back to Shanghai in the afternoon.
Day Eight: Shanghai - UK
Tour guide will take with you to the airport and see you off to your own home.
